Our History

John O’Hara | Founder

Calabru was founded in 2014 by John O’Hara.  John has gained extensive experience from a number of HR departments across large organisations in Australia, Ireland, and the UK. He has worked in both public and private sectors, and in a variety of multidisciplinary industries including Hospitality, Entertainment, Gaming, Health Care, Construction and Financial Services.  John has successfully managed projects, carried out business-wide annual salary reviews, and prepared and automated countless reports to executive teams, HR teams, management, unions and to government.

John has an honours degree in Information & Communications Technology, is PRINCE2 Project Management qualified and is also a certified Global Remuneration Professional from WorldatWork – The Total Rewards Association (formerly the American Compensation Association).
